Hey!

My name is Jake Hirschmann and I’m an alumn of the first ever graphic design graduated class of the College of Architecture and Design at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I am passionate about unexpected, unusual, and intelligent design solutions. I pride myself on fast learning, dedication, and attention to detail.

I studied design in Seoul, South Korea where I focused on language and typography (Hangul), contemporary Korean graphic design practices, and collaboration with Korean design students. I value this experience greatly, as it has helped shape me into the designer and person that I am today. I strive to surround myself with new experiences and inspiration to constantly broaden my horizons and learn.

I am more than happy to chat with anyone about design or any adjacent ideas, just reach out!

“The public is more familiar with bad design than good design. It is, in effect, conditioned to prefer bad design, because that is what it lives with. The new becomes threatening, the old reassuring.” — Paul Rand  ══════⊹⊱≼≽⊰⊹════════════⊹⊱≼≽⊰⊹════════════⊹⊱≼≽⊰⊹════════════⊹⊱≼≽⊰⊹══════
